Who Can Attend Torrance Adult School?

Anyone age 18 or older is invited to enroll in our classes.  You are not required to be a Torrance resident to participate in any classes offered at Torrance Adult School.

Torrance Adult School has three campuses and many satellite locations where classes are held during the day and in the evening.  We are committed to offering Life-Long-Learning opportunities for adults in our community.

Our Adult School program has expanded over the years and now offers classes to meet the needs and interests to Torrance adult residents, including computer software applications, repair, security, accounting, floral design, cosmetology, accounting, campus security training, parenting, basic sewing, languages, arts and crafts, health, fitness and exercise, programs for older adults, English learners, adult basic and secondary education, G.E.D. and High School diploma preparation, tours and many other special interest areas.

We invite community members to contact our campus offices or resource teachers to make suggestions for new courses, to comment on classes you are now taking,  how they might be improved, or to let us know we're doing a good job.  Our goal is to offer  relevant high quality  educational opportunities for the adult members of our community.
