The G.E.D. test is a six-part exam given once each term at Hamilton Center over a three-evening period.  Next test dates are on July 21-23, 2008 Deadline to register is Friday, July 18, 2008.  You must call Hamilton Ctr. to register.  Fee $120 due at time of the appointment (cash or money order only - no checks.)  California ID is required.  Special accommodations are available for individuals with documented physical and learning disabilities.  Contact our counselor at Hamilton Ctr.: (310) 533-4459 Ext. 8400

The California High School Exit Exam is a two-day exam given to all California students as a requirement for a diploma.  Students are eligible to take the test only three times in a school year.  Students may register at the Hamilton Center office.  During the Spring term, Torrance Adult School will offer the CAHSEE test to adult school students on the following schedule:

Adult School diploma students can complete the US History or Government requirements through independent learning at home, while you study math or English. Contact the Hamilton counselor for placement and the teacher for periodic program review.
